ivy claims
the dusty boards
run beneath my bed
beyond the dream
roots are taking hold
a somewhere
I’ve decided
is where I’ll spend
my nights
while keeping here
the best
of letting go
anxious breath
of moments left
of lifetimes there
we knew
calamine
and flannel
birch and bear
cold the ways of winter
let me hold you
closer dear
charcoal swans
are gathered
to the rise
silence
tells me everything
about the ways
you’ve come
and where you’ll go
when morning
shades my eyes
paths
of almost nothing
weave ambrosia
into light
and I am swept
with where you were
tonight
. . .

Wow.
humbled…………. thank you, stephen……….. ~ love only
You always continue to write a new poem, much better, more beautiful, more soothing than the one before! Awesome poem Bobbie! Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you, Wendell. If there is one I count on to find the truth within my words, it is you. May your Sunday be filled with sunlit blessings. ~ Always love, Bobbie
you paint with such subtle light
where one can feel their way through it as well as see it
this one will surely stand within the realms of time as a breath upon a canvas
painted within strokes of memories in love
Take care Bobbie…You Matter…

You make me blush, Maryrose. I know (you know) that the things that last are those expressed with love. No one remembers one great poem about bitterness (well, maybe one or two Shakespeare things)…..but love remains for it speaks to the universal heart again and again. Thank you. I love you……… ~ Bobbie
You really took me somewhere with those last lines, Bobbie. Liked this one a lot. ~always~ Me
In my heart, I know it was a good place, dear Paul. Thank you. May your day be filled with the sweetest memories of all. ~ Love ever, Bobbie
Dear Bobbie, my favorite lines … “silence tells me everything about the ways you’ve come and where you’ll go” … it is in silence that I perceive a lot of things. I love silence, I love to dwell in silence, for it may be that silence is a language that Love sometimes communicates in. Love, Dee …p.s. just got back from the Orient…
O, Dee. You are so right. Silence gives us (as women especially) a place to hear with more than ears – to know what we know – to feel what we feel – to see what we see – from a place deeper than our bones. From a love deeper than eternity. Thank you for sharing the light of your love, Dee. Always, my love goes with you wherever you go. I hope your trip was filled with magical blessings. ~ Ever, Bobbie
