whate’er has gone
will find again –
morning
twilight
leaning in
across the ways
beneath the floor
were heavens
once I held
before
as now I see
the truth become
with want for I –
the only one
to know of words
– a bitter
taste
life is best
with none to waste
as once we knew
another now
where wishes fell
and kisses lay
sweet the breath
of almost none
would love
be missed
we gave away
might presence steal
the shadows grey
as sun across
our yesterdays
hold me here
touch me yet –
recalled
to ways
I’ll not forget
. . .
A healthy and happy New Year to you Bobbie.
O, Stephen………..thank you. May the year find you open to all kinds of inspiration! ~ Love, Bobbie
“would love be missed
we gave away”
Should not be missed if it was given as a gift and freely. Never regret the gift of love, either given or received. Never have…, never will. It was, and is still the greatest treasure to ever hold…, even for a moment. ~xo~

I have missed you, Debbie. I hope and pray all is well. I love you! ~ Ever, Bobbie
True love is never let go, for what is treasured can never be cast away, for it nourishes ones heart and spirit, and brings a continued radiance to light one’s soul! So it remains as the exquisite lasting gift it shall always be….wonderful poem!
