come the wave
before the tide –
with memories of the shore
and light when danced
atop the foam –
remembers us no more
past the song
of silence raised –
some fragile dream recalled
when choice to be
so willingly –
would gladly risk it all
stay the night
another day –
shall wake upon the morn
and places
we have parted from
await a time reborn
hold these words
as written – in the warmth
that is your hand
and others –
as the taste of life
once washed upon these sands
know of me
when everything
you thought was real
is changed –
when the winds around you
whisper of the reasons
why we came
dark the wave
adores the moon
as breath beneath the tide
– as rivers flow
the ways to home –
on memories
of the light
lovely
Thank you, dearest one…… ~ Love ever, Bobbie

Thank you, Paul. Your kindness is always a blessing to my heart. ~ Bobbie
“as breath beneath the tide”
waits for the chaos to subside
when we no longer hide
when once again we rise
I always hear so much in between your words…
I always think…and feel with them
Thank you Bobbie…
Take Care…
You Matter…

I know you do, Maryrose, as I do with your words. I thought last night when reading your recent piece regarding the moon and the tide that we must be on the same schedule……. 🙂 Thank you! I love you madly! ~ Bobbie
No wonder why none could ever fairly define Light; it just needs not to be known as it’s felt within every fiber of every living and non-living being….
Love & Light
You’re so right, Mira. It burns within us such that it consumes every darkness we might encounter. Love always wins. Light always trumps dark. Thank you. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. ~ Much love ever, Bobbie
I love how the poem interrelates the light with the warmth of home. This is beautiful, Bobbie. Love, Dee
Thank you, Dee. The image seemed to fit with the idea that home is more than a place. It’s a feeling that goes with us, and a light that always shines us home. You touch my heart, dear one. Always with my love, Bobbie
This is a confection!
Both words and image.
Where were you to take such a beauty?
Can you see those Northern lights from where you live?
I like the way you don’t mention ‘green’ or ‘northern’, but let other words speak your feelings.
Thank you so much. In truth, I didn’t take the picture but a friend did several years ago when he was helping to build a cabin in Alaska. Your kindness is appreciated, and I am so glad you felt the meaning within the words. Truly, thank you. ~ Much love, Bobbie
As beautiful and wonderful as it’s writer’s heart and spirit! Awesome!
Oh, Wendell………you swell my heart! Thank you. ~ Love, Bobbie
