for a moment
of unspoken faith –
alone among the cedars
and dared my pen confess
of all I see
of light to split
the eager black –
a call to life somewhere
echoes ring of aches
upon the breeze
shadows shift
where spirits roam –
between the bear and afid
surely here –
the honey smells
of wine
where was I
when yesterday –
the need to find my keeping
when took to heart
a path beyond the pines
sweetly as a morning tear
I’m reminded of another
when once I stood
and all the world
was still
pages bent from aged bark
syllables grow silent
cast to words no longer spoke –
longing shall reveal
mists along an eastern ridge
where songs are being practiced –
nightbirds flee protection
by the sun
there as I was started
by these truths I knew before
turns with me to home
before the day
begun
Such a very eloquent song whose words steal radiant beauty from the stars and plant them in the hearts of many…who joyfully receive their breath….beautifully written Bobbie!
You’re too sweet, Wendell. This was written just as the sun burst free from the trees along the ridge…….. How perfect that you should find their message in the stillness. Thank you, Wendell. ~ Much ever, Bobbie
The Witch’s veil falls with the last star’s twinkle,
For the sun to shine on faces destined not to wrinkle
& a princess by her window sits contemplating
How can she skips a morn without praying!
Love & Light
lovely portrayal of day breaking, “the light to split the eager black”. I am engulfed in the mood of these hauntingly beautiful words, Bobbie! Love, Dee p.s. nice to have you back 🙂
It is so good to be back, Dee. And even moreso, it is such a blessing to be warmed by the grace of your kind words. I’ve missed that……and love you so. Always, Bobbie
A sunrise, in the deep woods, along a whispering brook, and the beginning of another beautiful day…

Always, we are reminded of the power we have to start over ~ to reinvent ourselves. Such is the truth of love and life. Thank you, dear Paul. ~ Always, Bobbie
