Who am I
they say (I am)
Whose name am I to wear
when given faith
to love again –
what truth shall I declare.
What hope (resolved)
shall find in me –
the place where love began –
and bring another
heartbeat
to song beneath my skin.
Immortal life
(as love endeared) –
let not for sorrows grieve
the place I am becoming –
beyond the truth
believed.
Who am I
they say (I am)
would welcome this
(my fate).
From realms unknown
I shall return –
as dreams to lie awake.
To place the sun
(was once my light)
and touch
my bliss to know –
of worlds of love
(at rest) between
the shadow and the soul
