dared again
the soul to tend –
one more wish
defending
the truth would come
– a dream
to sleep within
hastened by this evermore
spring recalls
the leaving –
morning brushes
winter
o’er my skin
sweeter
this arrangement
to speak
with silent tongue
to dream of places
crossed –
the same dark skies
touching on an
in between
I know you watch
the same
stars are falling
– we are realigned

Beautiful, as always.
A poets voice always moves forward but also continues to be dressed within thousands of emotions that gave beginning life to many, many words! The inspiration that brings them to life is never forgotten but stays deeply rooted on its treasured walls. None are out of alignment but only become better as they continually blossom with every new word shared and embraced by another…it becomes a timeless scenario, but one of true intrinsic value. Wonderful poem!
A sweet beginning to the new year, Bobbie. ~Always~ Paul
