were moments
to awaken –
your voice upon my skin
as secrets
whispered low –
became my light
flush against
the almost life –
of somewhere
love awaiting
hands to touch –
words we lost that day
broken verse
as sunlight traveled –
caught by falling angels
shadows passed
to shadow –
one we’ll be
held aside
for reasons –
longing knows too well
light recalls
the sweetest night
– lifetimes
loving so

Brings to mind hidden emotions and thoughts of yesterday. ~Always~
Paul
……o, but rarely are they hidden. Most often, they are written to the back of eyelids and running ragged o’er the course of many a dream. Thank you. ~ Much love, Bobbie
The image along with the poem delivers a wonderful embrace as I awaken this morning! Your smile ever shines brightly through your words! God bless!

We keep everything so carefully and sacred! Light is full of symbolism !

Oh Bobbie, something churned inside the chest after reading these fine lines — as if half-alive, half-dead “clay-ball” took a nostalgic breath. Beautiful beautiful words, my lovely friend!
Much love to you.
I am pleased that you understand the soul of these words, my beautiful friend. May your breath weave magic this day. ~ All my love, Bobbie
Dear Bobbie – those moments when secret whispers become the light itself. I loved this piece sweet friend. I can never tire of your work, as there is always pearls of remembering and ‘knowing’ that gives me faith here. Love to you – and may your adventure to the sea be filled with love and joy x Robyn
It has indeed………there is nothing quite like the quiet of the sea returning to the shore, a balcony beneath the stars and a glass of wine…….. The stars wink to our remembrance. Thank you, Robyn. ~ All my love, Bobbie
“words we lost that day”
always find their way back inside as we close our eyes
