beyond the reaching
a psalm restored

of holding on

– as letters

reread

be somewhere other
than places
we were sworn to grieve
deep the pangs of everafter –
consumed to lust
will senses
leave
be known
thy truth –
be all I wanted
far more than wealth –
a moment here
as scar to scar –
were will to scatter
as briar to breath
one kiss
endeared
