I’ve forgotten
where the stars were crossed
but kept within my blood
their very names
drew a map
from north to south
west across the plains
east as far
the oldest sun shall rise
spoke of times
an ancient place
beyond the reach of knowing
sisters spin
in silken webs
as shadows of disgrace
fated fears
and let’s begin –
truth to resurrect
tho buried now
beneath my holy place
crossed again
the story line –
wherever
west is gone –
pulls against my center
at odds against
the stars
. . .

Thank you……..
Your poems add to my recovery Bobbie! Sunday was almost a fateful day! Bad reaction to some medicine! That is what has kept me down the past two weeks, and I am no longer taking that! Yesterday was a very restful one, and your poems were as always so very beautiful, as is this one! Thanks for the lift!
O, Wendell, I knew you weren’t feeling well and I have been praying for your recovery. I’m so glad that you are fighting your way back. Take care of yourself and know that you are loved. ~ Always, Bobbie
