of the places
we passed –
on our way to becoming
there were times
taken back
for a while to reflect
as sunlight burned holes
in the feet of our longing
and eyes searched the shadows
for nights barely done –
poems laid out
in uneven patterns
lessons forgiving
each name said aloud
mysteries turned by our faith in forever
in moments unspoken
given voice
by the clouds
red clay horizons
and blue opal brushes
twilight and words without shame
cactus grew wild
at the edges of memory
as somewhere
the skies painted
pictures of us –
in ribbons of
bluebird and flame
Red clay traversed and tracked, bluebirds whirling the eye, flames leaping to reveal: all events on the way to becoming who we were truly created to be!
Indeed, Rose………..always we are becoming a miracle (from a miracle)…….. Thank you so much. May your day be as blessed as you make mine. ~ All my love, Bobbie
And in our hearts we embrace with faith as awesome presence who we have never seen except for in the beauty of his creations. We have embraced this love in our walk and have accepted Him. In the flesh we suffer trials and tribulations but in the spirit of grace our hope is renewed! We become as one with his loving spirit and though the road seems heard sometimes we blossom a little more each day. I see the life sparkle of the spirt that lights and gives life to every word you share with a glorious beauty that when received it most times will take one’s breath away. God’s love is very breathtaking…and as you share the love that grows within daily, you heart never wants it to leave. Beings of flesh fail, but He will never let you down, and he will continue to cultivate you on your path into that glorious new being you are meant to be. As usual my spirit shares what it sees and feels from your words. They are a treasured beautiful gift as are you my Sister. And you always see with clearer eyes and write better and more lovely with the passing of each day. Thanks for the life in your words!
Thank you, Wendell. Your kindness is a warm breeze to my heart. ~ Love, Bobbie
Bobbie, you know how to take nature, emotions, teaching, and memories, and create a beautiful kaleidoscope of life. Your words deserve more than my poor praise.
…. always, xo
Paul
Dearest Paul ~ I doubt I have more to share than anyone else ~ maybe I just gave up long ago of trying to keep it. This heart (this soul) are my gifts to give through a word that someone might recognize to their own ~ a reminder of grace they’ve forgotten. In that, might a light (of love) come on where the darkness has long settled? I hope so……..I know so. Thank you so much. ~ Love you, me
This, of red clay horizons and blue opal brushes is the emotionally vivid landscape that your writing takes me to, I am always transported, always moved. You marvel me, Love Linda
…as I am always humbled in giving you that which you so very much deserve, Linda. Thank you for the loving grace that is your light. Always with my love, Bobbie
Can’t say it better than Paul.
You seem to have a never emptying store of the right words for the right thoughts.
Thank you, Jo. I read once that a writer does nothing more than give sound to the thoughts that others cannot express. If I am that and nothing more, I am blessed beyond my words of gratefulness. Truly, thank you. ~ Much love, Bobbie
