of that we knew
we’ve learned again
as difference made whole
passing as a thought
we strained to hear
as breath
against the branches
whispers test the breeze –
ashes float a torch
above the way
magic pools
reflection
of a long ago sunrise
testament of dreamer ~
to a king
honeybee and hornet
stretch to raise their canopy
of majesty made over
for the one who came to know
the world as one
surrendered to his sighs ~
innocence decided
by watchers on the wing
rakes the night
in search of words unsaid
answers written over
in the rush
to keep it all
another waits in silence ~
to question why we came
How many times have I learned a lesson several times over, recovering from the errors of my unlearning. I love how this reminds me of how human we are, and how graceful love, truth, and wisdom are, to be still within our reach, as long as we keep on reaching out, and not give up. Love, Dee
……..I’m convinced life is one long lesson (or more) and we only stop learning when we come to the false conclusion that we know it all. I pray I never entertain that notion. Thank you, Dee. ~ Much love always, Bobbie
Bobbie, your image brought tears to my eyes because of what you thought in your heart and what you shared in your poem…we are indeed one and of the same true spirit! I felt Maria’s kiss as i cried sweet tears…the spirits are never far but always near to guide us to share true love to others! Thanks my sister!
Thank you, Wendell. Your love washes over my day with joy. ~ Love, Bobbie
