in the swell of a moment
eternity waits
denied the protection
of one last embrace
or lives to make more
of what steals us away
a kiss
then another
surrender
as were words
unafraid
the echo of sighs –
filling a silence
so tender
a cold morning after
where longing is saved
by warmth
through the branches
remember
. . .
…i remember too, a distant bell
And stars that fell
Like rain out of the bue… 🙂 …..xo
Within each new poem you share, there is an enchanting embrace, which reminds one, how empty the world would be without their hugs each day…another beautiful gem Bobbie!
I echo Wendell’s comment ❤ xXx
