forever
to wait –
seems not that much more
than was passed
while I waited a day
remembered to moments –
and there you are still
how easy these years
fell away
forgotten
the place
of beginning again
as seasons
now folded between
nights held with wonder
for times we drew dear
– are passed
as a sigh into dreams
suppose
and I will –
every morning til then
wrapped as allowance
to stars long ago
how will I find
what I waited so long
– to touch
what I already know
. . .

I have been reading the thoughts spreading through the air
wanting to focus on one thought inside the verses….
but the whole of it draws me in and holds my breath….
for you know I would feel this one…
careful Bobbie..I am in runaway mode..I may show up on your porch !
Take Care…and know You and your beautiful haunting words always find a place
within me….they and You Matter much….

O, Maryrose…….I knew you would find this since you inspired it in a round-about way. 🙂 The porch is empty cept for the welcome. ~ Love you, Bobbie
The words fall like soft summer rain,
Warming the heart, easing the pain.
‘Twas beautifully written, darlin’ girl, but himself didn’t like it much at all, at all, he loved it. Good night “southern angel”. ~xo~ Himself
I’m fortunate that you’re far too kind to post when you don’t like. Thank you, Paul. 🙂 Always, you know the heart that dares the words. ~ Love, Bobbie
So very hauntingly beautiful! Awesomely sweet my sister! Another gem!
………my words are far less than your grace, dear Wendell. ~ Love, Bobbie
