ease me to going
carried once more –
as ash on the lips
of a far away wind
grieve
not the leaving
bear not the blame
or sit long the night
with my name
forgiven
the passage
of death into light
in breaking again
to living I came –
sworn to remember
the sorrows I’ve known
to ease one –
another we waited
this long
to be
as in being
a promise once made
to ease of the ache –
a salve
to the pain
to listen
(I listen)
I hear what you say
as I lie awake
crying
your tears
. . .

love the flow it’s really nice great job
Thank you for your kindness, my friend. ~ Love, Bobbie
This leaves me with a sadness that I can’t explain, Bobbie. Maybe sadness isn’t the right word…, maybe a sense of unexplainable mourning ~Always~
Paul
Well, it wasn’t meant to be sad in the ways it might seem. It was written as the result of something read recently about the compassionate soul – such that it would return again and again, until there were no more tears, no more sorrows. I suspect also that it was inspired by time spent with my daddy today – a reminder of the fleeting nature of life, and the unexplainable amount of joy that can be experienced in but one lifetime. Thank you, Paul. ~ Love, Bobbie
mourning even in a life that was yet to be….
but somehow lost on the wind
Paul is right…sad within the mourning..
Take Care….You Matter Miss Bobbie

love to you….always
just me
Thank you, Maryrose. You know as I that life is both – joy and sorrows. While one sits with us for tea, the other walks the porch. But always, we are blessed – by the one, the other, both – for there, the proof of love – love we’ve given and eternal love we keep. ~ Always with love to you my precious friend. ~ Bobbie
There is a vibration of “acceptance” here to me… accepting whatever life offers in all its colors and shades of emotion. Very beautiful to read… i especially loved the final verse:
“a salve
to the pain
to listen
(I listen)
I hear what you say
as I lie awake
crying
your tears”
Love to you dear Bobbie ~ xo
