for more than this
a dare to wish
and cares to fall unnoticed
gathered us to secret
by the night
moments of forever
so few I can recall –
are learning me
returning me
to worlds
you hold me tight
no more than this
a wish come true
as twilight passes tender
witness to another
this we shared
midnight pried as shadows grew
pulled the deep around
as dreams to catch –
when stars were
everywhere
. . .
The simple words — you hold me tight– the image of being in a glass house where the beauty of the Astros, the change of day to night, is elusive ~ I also thought of the dream fairytale Cinderella’s glass slipper… am I odd?
Not at all, and yet, aren’t we all. How glorious for us that we are!!!!!!!!! Thank you, Deb. ~ Ever with love, Bobbie
I loved this– also got a sense of fairytale wonder in reading…
“midnight pried as shadows grew

as dreams to catch –
when stars were
everywhere”
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella was my childhood ultimate favorite too —
Your writing is beyond enchanting Bobbie ~ enjoyed so much!
x so much love, Robyn
O, Robyn, to be honest I had not thought of the connection. And yet, even as I read these few comments, I saw it……… And last night, as I sat on the porch and watched the firefly clouds, I felt it then – the magic that sweeps through our lives, so many times unaware. In such moments of divine, we are reminded (as if we need to be) that we are loved. Thank you, and please let this be another reminder. ~ My love to you, Robyn. ~ Bobbie
Soft, sweet, and purely romantic…, loved it! ~xo~

You’re so easy to read, dear Paul. 🙂 And I am so glad. ~ Ever, Me
