were messages
we never heard –
signs we couldn’t see
distracted by forever –
was a place
of mystery
a slight of imperfection
of darkness more
than night
moments more than
lifetimes there –
as shifted
us to light
words were lost
when others found –
our half
another made
symphonies of sorrow
– a music
no one played
kept apart
by living –
swore
some other way to find
eternity we wasted
– come together
in the mind
ages passed
and symbols gone
– life just passing
through
dawn was but a
place we loved –
signs before we knew

Perfection…., that’s my only comment. ~xo~

🙂 I’m sooooooooooo glad you think so, Paul. I must admit that I found a certain closeness to the words ~ knowing what I couldn’t possibly know. ~ Love, Bobbie
Oh, I agree with Paul. I had no words for this one but “perfect”. This is so lovely.

What an interesting image. “…dawn was but a
place we loved…” fits perfectly. 🙂

Thank you, James. I know you understand when I say how much it means to me that you like this. More often than not, I find that words rarely scratch the surface of what we mean to say. Like this…….thank you. ~ Much love, Bobbie
