spin me ’round
this splintered floor
make of dreams some other
and slide me neath
the winter once we lay
with plans to keep
and prayers unsaid
forgotten to deliver –
a promise to the silence
hurts we rubbed away
remember me
to empty rooms
and something more
I wanted –
would stay the night
and not my touch
betray
. . .

…….as are your words, dear Wendell. Thank you hardly seems enough to repay you for your kindness and friendship. ~ Love you, Bobbie
