once before
you almost knew –
I could see it in your eyes
familiar as the sunlight
to your face
warmest realization
of places come and gone
miles from here –
another time
and space
immortal truths
to resurrect –
mere moments more or less
tho somewhere now –
we weave in destiny
searching through the rubble
for pieces almost gone
– threads are pulled
across and back
for me
almost once
and even now –
I wonder just how close
the stars were realigning
to our will
e’er tides be turned
that old blue moon
watching yet the same
ages passed –
forever
standing still
. . .

Beautiful!
O, Cindy, thank you. I’m so glad you think so. ~ Much love, Bobbie
This goes way beyond “almost” 🙂
Seb, I’m so so glad you think so. I struggled with it almost to the point of giving up. It’s good to know that it’s as should be (or at least as you see it – which is good enough for me). Thank you…….. ~ Love, Bobbie
I know the feeling. I am stuck trying to write things that are too ambitious for my ability. But what’s the point of not trying to do the big things? This isn’t supposed to be an easy gig 🙂
Yes, it is! 😀
Reading your words early in the morning is always a very breathtaking moment! The beauty of your words just pushes the darkness away…so wonderfully written Bobbie! Blessings and love to you dear sister!
If I bring such beauty to your morning, Wendell, I am grateful. Thank you for sharing your day with me. ~ Love, Bobbie
