o precious redeemer
hold tighter
I pray –
and garner my heart
with your wonderous grace
know me
bestow me
paths you have laid
grant me the courage
to turn not away
from the living
forgiving
of choices long made
that I might endure
every kiss
every blade
in pleasing
releasing
both laughter and tears
joys spilled over
to the places of fear
of becoming
the only
of always I am
a snowflake in autumn
a flaw in the plan
of pathways
and patience –
my purpose to find
eternity already come
and I never willing
silent to sit
while life dances by
on the lawn
turning
returning
spinning in place
lost in a moment
floating in space
living and dying
forever
today
to lose
to be broken
to be torn
and be healed
remembering light
as a scar to my soul
born into breath
this morning
again –
with nothing to keep
and all now to hold
mercies
how tenderly
each one revealed
and somewhere
they worry for me
swirling
unfurling
as leaves falling down
love waiting only
to be
That was awesome. What a beautiful piece. Love it.

O, Felicia, I am so glad you like it. Thank you so, my friend. ~ Love, Bobbie
Beautiful writing, Bobbie… and it climaxes so very gently, yet so very powerfully, in those last two lines.
O, thank you so much, Angela. Your grace is a blessing to my morning. Thank you, dear one. Indeed, the last two lines are the heart of this piece. ~ Love to you, Bobbie
love it 🙂
Thank you! ~ Love, Bobbie
I find a lot of comfort in your prayer to the Lord! As I recover, i still see things even clearer, everything and every word always so valuable when shared! You are always a blessing in the truth always shared in your words! There is always a healing magic and peace within…that strenthen hearts who read them and openly receive them. Beautiful psalm Bobbie! I really loved it my sister!
I love this response, Wendell. For years, I’ve had people ask me the meaning of various works. I’m never sure what to say because I know that the true meaning lies in the heart of the reader. If someone doesn’t understand, they are simply not meant to (or not ready to). That you find peace in my words is a comfort (and joy) to me. Thank you for this gift, Wendell. ~ Ever as love, Bobbie
