within the silence
of the heart –
echoes of another
and lives so barely lived
were filled with light
trembled now
the tired soul –
spilled as prayer with sorrow
asking for but one
a truth revealed
wash upon these places
ease beyond the night –
but rob us not
the memory
of their love
guard the sleep
of dreamers –
wake them slow to peace
fearless to embrace
another morn
sweeter now
the whispered hope
revived from long ago –
promising a life
beyond this life
smiles remembered
everywhere –
where healing is begun
angels wait familiar now –
as faces to the sun
. . .
another lesson unfolds,
will the world listen to the soft voices the of innocents
as they spread their wings and fly home
leaving trails of tears for us search for the answers
my heart shutters each time I walk by the tv, the computer
for as some will search to place blame
others will find the compassion to embrace with prayer
knowing this is a Human experience, a human moment
to comfort the ones that lost such beauty in their lives…
making this moment about them….
I am not sure how to give voice to what I hear….
so I think I will just agree with you….
***And always, we shall remember……..not how they died, but how they lived……….**
Love to you too Bobbie…..

Blessed Be
Blessed be your beautiful heart, Maryrose. There are things I do not wish to understand, but always I can love and trust in a power far greater than mine. ~ Love, Bobbie
Tears are the solace for those left behind
To ease the grief and salve the empty places
In their hearts. We have lost so much ! When
will it ever end. Heartbreaking…
