of those who know
are not so much –
and some are sworn to silence
lifetimes gone
with knowledge
on their tongue –
waiting verse
or page appear
waiting questions asking
which
and where
and who am I
to know
tell me
of the evermore
swims beneath the river –
of mountains
just beyond the reach
of storm
tell me
are there hearts that bleed
rather than surrender –
souls that shift the night
in search of love
where and then
I’ve come to know –
all was never written
somewhere tides
have cleared the lowly shore
galaxies colliding
in the ruse
of letting go –
lanterns blaze to mark the way
we know
tell me
are there others
searching as I am –
caught in life
and dreaming of the sea
. . .
Aye, darlin’ girl, there are others…, and wouldn’t the sea be reachin’ for their dreams. And e’re the lanterns light the way to findin’ them it seems. Wouldn’t I be stoppin’ now, else be accused of ramblin’ again.
A hug to ease your tears,
A smile to ease your fears
A sweet good night to ye, lass,
~xo~

🙂 Thank you, dearest Paul. ~ Love, Herself
mmm.. Jacques Cousteau would best reply you; “The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever”… now you can modify his expression to fit your real sea:)
Love & Light
🙂 For surely we all have a sea of our own. Love this, Mira….and you. Thank you so much. I hope your Saturday is amazing. ~ Love, Bobbie
beautifully depicted…
as for the question, yes 🙂
I suspected there might be, dear Vimal. Thank you for letting me know I’m not alone! 😉 ~ Love, Bobbie
Those who create always search for the time that our spirits feel was alive before, as there is always a melody from afar, or a scent or a smell, a soft word whose tender message rekindles lost moments from another time or place…a song whose soft embrace triggers tears to be shed…we who easily are inspired to create, have spirits that never easily let go of the pure joy we find…another beautiful gem Bobbie!
