as thought to a moment
lotus gone blue
spinning my soul out of sight
love clings to wonder
the hand without hold
as warmth swept aside
when lonely
is come
as rush to the willows
the breezes of May
have carried
to spirit the secrets we saved
eastern to rise
as a once faithful star
come softly to nights
where I lay
were not for the one
to know of me now –
ages and graces undone
pull me beside
as stories retold
and I’ll fold to tears
every time
garner me truth
I can’t say I’ll know
tho once held the name
of another I knew
places somewhere –
they whisper of me –
as lotus too long
letting go
When the warm pinks and mauves of the lotus flower turn to blue, then world turns cold. This is beautiful in its poignancy, Bobbie. Love, Dee
Much as we do when we shut off access to our heart, my dearest Dee. Thank you for finding me (always). ~ Love you, Me
Nothing is never loss when it comes to what the spirit embraces and shares. not a single moment, or time, not a single whisper or thought, it always lives…nicely written Bobbie!
