take of these
my open hands –
arms that held you close
save for life
remembered now –
and love beyond the soul
give me not to contradict
of choices to remain
as sun upon the mountain melts
to rainbows on the plain
as promise made
that I would love –
holds still within my breath
shall find another way to be –
beyond the course of death
betrayed the scourge of innocence
sleep I dare not choose
awake with me
eternally –
as love we shall not lose
there the rarest flower blooms –
from loving thoughts
have burst
blossoms wreath immortal skies
and tary not for thirst
as grace provides for each the same
fulfills their only need –
essence of the love we were
when planted first
the seed
I *sigh* and read again…
soaking up the essence within your thoughts you so
graciously put into words….
promises are sacred ground…
once made they will always
come back around
to flash through memory
and bring a smile…
Beautiful as always Bobbie…
Have a wonderful day!
Take Care…

…such truth, Maryrose……love is the seed we plant without often knowing the garden that comes to bloom. Thank you…… I hope your day is beautiful! I sense a peace within your words, and know you’ve found a truth within your own heart that none can take. I love you…. ~ Bobbie

…and I am blessed by your presence with me, Linda. ~ Truly. You are loved. ~ Bobbie
A wonderful choice of words, beautifully written, painting a picture, not of gardens, blossoms, mountains, or even rainbows, or of people, but the essence of love.
In other words, “Ya done good, girl”!!!!!!!!
….always,
xo

If there’s one poet who knows how to write out her loving heart, it’s you Bobbie. Romantic, tender and pretty as that lovely flower image.
And if there’s one poet who would recognize such, it would be you Vanessa. Thank you so much. ~ Love to you. ~ Bobbie
