what words
need understanding –
but a place to fall
one day
beyond the seeker seeking
our dismay
another time
forgotten us –
some meaning just beyond
the dreamer dreamed

a summer night
a star just so
and planted black
as diamond
how many wishes
raised
before his fell
dust is left
to willing hands
pressed against the light
to trace the trail
of wishes
cross the night
