it seems
I’ve forgotten
the reasons for us
and where you were going
before I came down
– a breeze
from the mountains
as light from the east
– a some kind of angel
in white cotton gown
at the mention of always –
sometimes I loose sight
of the way
that the world takes her time
as balanced perfection –
wherein I forget
the beauty of presence
divine
a scatter of ashes
in clusters of blue –
a sign by the side
of a once traveled road
remembers our passing
as time
on the map –
a place come of knowing
– of dreams
taking hold
. . .

Watching the clouds as life drifts along. If you’re lucky, sometimes it will give you a glimpse of its real beauty, and then drift on over the ridge. Strange thoughts, I know, but it’s been a strange day. Good night sweet lady. ~xo~ Me
Not strange at all. When I was younger (and still), I’m amazed at how much the sky looks like the ocean. I don’t think that’s a coincidence, nor is it one that I see it…….. We’re all strange in our own way, and that’s a wonderful thing. Thank you, Paul. ~ Love, Bobbie
Another beautiful one that comes down like a breeze from the mountains. Typo on loose, wherin?
Thank you for keeping me straight, Stephen. And thank you for your familiarity with the breeze. ~ Love ever, Bobbie
As for my familiarity with the breeze. On my last post I wrote about an inspiration to write that came to George Packard like an ocean wave. But initially I had likened that wind to the rush of air that you get when a subway train rushes into the station. I changed it to a salty ocean wave. But it’s the subway gusts I’m familiar with.
I so understand……….. ๐ Like the first breath of ocean water! ๐
The ocean breeze is healthier.
Much………… ๐
