rebel wind
of beauty bursting
dusty scars
defy the day
slipped beyond
the need for wisdom
quiet took not time
to pray
for better harvests
soaking rains
nights to faith we laid
naked as the ring
beneath the bark
celebrate
the empty fields
disgruntled grace of thunder
of briar
sans the memory of bite
of teardrops tapped
along the roof
rusted tin and rainbow –
visions saved
for grieving
another morning
storm
. . .

The elements of nature test us as the harvests lay soaked.. The winds blow harsher waking us up to her power.. The Rain cleanses the Earth, as the Fire in her depth roars and shakes us awake..
A beautiful poem …
Happy Earth Day with all her moods……. may she bring you rainbows of peace and shower you with joy!

Ever, she does, Sue. In her arms, our truth and our salvation. Thank you so much! It does my heart good to know someone feels (knows) as I do. ~ Love ever, Bobbie
