forsaken luck
of nevermore –
would will the seeker stall –
when worried for
the answers come
surrendered us to fall
forgotten now the barter
would bring such sweet release
beholding to each other
heart to heart –
as pleas to please
so many rules
so many trials –
with one more truth to tell
was not for me forever spoke –
with worries of the veil
of lessons in the leaving
let us go –
or let us lead
as oceans
soon returning
as sands beneath my feet
of will
my tender heart to swell
with loving wrecklessness –
secure as dreams
the wander true –
would never dream for less
. . .
There’s a bittersweet calm and confidence in this. I liked it a lot.

I only wish that I can one day write with the spirit and heart that lives in each of your poems! Each one is always much better than the previous one! A very nice poem, I also liked it a lot! Very nice Bobbie!
Oh, but you do……..you do every day, Wendell………. Your words inspire us all (and especially me). ~ Much love, Bobbie
