Of those who’ve come to know me, you know that I struggle with the words. While some come easy, rarely do I find words that can express the depths of gratitude I feel when someone gives to me from their heart. Most often, I tend to brush it off, which I shouldn’t do. For in brushing it away, I’ve left at least one with the feeling that I didn’t care. That is far from the truth.
I care perhaps more than most can imagine. I care to the darkest recesses of my heart, the wildest river from my soul. I have lost many a night’s sleep over misunderstandings and moments of rejection. I feel and I love, and I am way past the point in my life where I feel any need at all to apologize for either.
And so, with the wish to receive and to pass along the light that is love, I accept these nominations (one from Wendell and one from Mira) with profound humility and appreciation for that which I have been given through their presence.

Ligo Circle of Appreciation
First things first. My undying gratitude to my dear friend, Wendell Brown, for reminding me not only of the truth that is love, but for periodically reminding me of who I am and the gifts I am tasked with sharing. For the gift of his friendship and strength, I am indebted. Thank you for nominating me for this lovely award, Wendell.
The yearly Ligo celebration happens every summer solstice in Latvia. At this time we adorn our heads with Ligos of flowers, oak leaves, grasses and plants (which, is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO very like me). We join circles around bonfires and celebrate life, and our appreciation of each other.

Here’s how it works:
*Complete this sentence about blogging: “A great blog is…”
*Refer back to the blogger who invited you
*Invite 2 bloggers to join the Ligo Circle of Appreciation on a post
Moving on –
A great blog is one that moves us to think, to feel, to know what we didn’t know before. A great blog moves us to give unselfishly of our gifts.
With that in mind, I invite the following to join this circle of Ligo. The hardest part of acceptance is figuring out which way to turn in passing the torch. But both of these writers offer me more than words – theirs is home in ways I find hard to put into word.
James – When I’m not sure of where to look, James always knows. His words point me the way in kindness and love, and in an understanding that it’s not always easy, but it’s always easy. Yes, I know and he knows. Visit James at – http://thewayhome.me/
Dee – It’s comforting to know there’s another much like yourself ~ someone who sees the same patterns in the leaves and feels love beyond the reach of normal wisdom. Dee personifies that which beauty aspires to be. Visit Dee at – http://liliessparrowsandgrass.com/

“I have spent my life seeking all thats still unsung.
Bent my ear to hear the tune, and closed my eyes to see.
When there was no strings to play, you played to me”
O’ Bobbie… never known you’re a robber!; first you’ve robbed my heart and now my words.. what’s left to say when you’ve even said the unsaid!
That’s exactly what I meant when I said “…..for being her”
& I loved what you said about dear Wendell; he does me the same; I just feel lit as his shadow comes close..
®arding Jeannie; been a long time that I’ve heard anything from her & now your words left me worried:(
much love to the three of you
Don’t worry long, dear one. I’ll try and give Jeannie a call this week ro make sure she is well. Thank you for opening your heart to me, for allowing your light to become a part of my light. I love you…….. ~ Bobbie
This is so bizarre, Mira. I just replied and it disappeared. I wonder if I’ve spammed myself! Thank you for sharing your light, and for sharing in mine. I’ll check on Jeannie this week and let you know how she’s doing! Thank you… I love you! ~ Bobbie

You have deserved both of these accolades and even more for the sweetness, kindness, gentility, and the love that you share with everyone. Thank you for being such a beautiful person.

I can’t imagine many I admire more than you, dearest Dee! Your handle says it all….. you are grace. ~ Love, Bobbie
Words from within will never do justice to describe the radiance from you that has found a lasting abode within my spirit’s heart! You see as we are always one in god, one in spirit and kindred spirits. You are a pure and true blessing to me worth its weight in pristine gold! You are deserving of both the awards and I know because Mira is also very much like you. You both make a day in the world so very beautiful. Congrats to you Bobbie…I send you my love, my sister!
