Come with me
down ancient paths
into the meadow’s
deepened dark –
petals worn and faded pink.

Come with me.

Play me as your music –
laughter spilled
from open hearts –
a moment undeserved
of blessings known.

Wishes sail
above the trees.
Silence wears a winter dress.
A sweeter kiss I could not know –
or take from passion’s lips.

With scarlet leaves
we paint the boughs
anew (this grand cathedral).
Colors melt the world
into our song.

The breeze bears
every dream –
into another sleeping sun.
Waiting there (as love)
I find direction.

Eternities between –
tho nothing more than waking.
Mine is the open hand
that bids you
come.

And the universe
cries – I will.
