long the night becoming
in shadows of the dawn –
stars await their moment
with the sun
love remains unspoken
as a cooling autumn breeze
gathered now in arms
of evergreen
circles of forever
are writ in quiet there –
reminders of the passing
– not the end
whispers of forever
sit for ages with the light
in silent sweet surrender
we remember why we came
. . .

I love this. It sounds like a poem written a few centuries ago.
O, thank you so much! You honor and humble me with your words. Thank you, truly. ~ Love, Bobbie
I agree with ‘contemplatinglove’…. The words seem timeless!
Thank you, my friend. Your kindness warms my heart. ~ Love, Bobbie
The last stanza owns the whole piece, Bobbie…, and the whole is beautiful. You know how I love symmetry of rythm in a poem…, and this is perfection. ~Always~

My thoughts as well, Paul. 🙂 Thank you (as always) for your kindred understanding. ~ Love, Bobbie
