raptured
by the journey
resistance of before –
icy plains and parched
exteriors
weathered lines
wore me down –
bleach and blind
the same
more for every snowy
white december
breathless
consequences –
of justice we have naught
will leave them there
forgotten
by our kind
sometimes I’m
reminded of ashes
blown my way –
and destinies
now weaved into
my soul
. . .
I know you wrote that “snowy” line just to bug me !!! I liked the rest of it though, Bobbie. ~xo~ Paul
o, would I do that………. 😉 *whistling innocently*. Surely never. Thank you, Paul. ~ Love, Bobbie
A very lovely image, which so hauntingly embraces your poem…there is a soothing touch from the deepness of your thoughts, which tenderly embrace a moment of peaceful bliss…where life stands still and you are free to scamper the hallways of your mind in total relaxation! Very nicely done!
