before the day was come
and love remembered us as one –
where gardens grew
impatient toward the light
wherein a single word was heard
as hands were joined with hearts
as echoes rolled
from first and then
the other –
as years begotten years
flowers rushed to blossom –
petals of the wanderer
poems of a saint
lullabies were written o’er
and evermore forgot –
touch the only thing
the same as then
breathe into the universe
the psalm of letting go –
whisper love
as once you did
– I never let you know
the way into the open
was the journey we become
who am I – you wonder
even now
reflection of
the best of you
enough is more than right
– dusty roads
and beds beneath the black
stars return each one
by name
for who you were just then
when walking back
beside the garden wall
I love your garden of love and soul, it reaps love, Linda
Oh, Linda, your words are all the water my garden needs. Thank you so much. ~ My love, Bobbie
Ah, ’tis a beautiful of a garden you paint, and wouldn’t you know just what flowers to plant. Sure aren’t hands held and sweet whispering the blossoms of the heart and love. And didn’t you bring them all together beautifully…
