of fairytales
I’ve heard them say
there is no prince returning –
dare I let my braid
down by the wall –
where once (a summer)
there you stood
with nowhere else to wander
awaiting for our story
to unfold
remember how it all seemed
more (than we could
make it happen) –
and dreamed I once or twice
of far aways
castles (meant for merlin)
camelot of sorts –
bridges fell across
my evermore
closed my eyes
and gave a wish –
to stars beyond the dipper
lay me down –
give me glass to wear
let me sleep
ten thousand years
if there your kiss will find me
standing at the window
where you wait
I lived inside of it, Love, Linda
I know you did……….. I imagined you there at the top of the castle…… I’m so glad you like this, Linda……. truly, your light is grace. ~ Love, Bobbie
In my dreams Prince do always come back.
That is why I love fairies
Love this one as always.
Love You Bobbie!
Milena, I think you’re right……..but I also believe that a savior will only show up when there’s something worth saving, and more times than not, we save ourselves. And that’s a wonderful thing – that we (at last) realized our own worth rather than watching for it another’s eyes. Thank you so much! Love you too! ~ Bobbie
Deeply down in my heart I feel that we all all worth to be saved. There stands always a hope in our life that Love will come (never mind when,She walks quietly but she walks).Only my love can save You,Your me,ect…
Someone must have created Love bigger then Universe a stronger then rock..
Each time when I recognize Beauty in Your words I gave myself a chance to become Beauty by myself.
Be blessed because You are blessings of many!
love as always,
milena
Oh, I absolutely agree with your comment, Milena…. We are all worth saving, but we owe it to our soul (our love) to recognize that in ourselves……….to see that in our beautiful brokenness. Love (much), Bobbie
Goodnight, Sleeping Beauty, or is it Rapunzel? I’ve always felt that for every damsel in distress, there is a hero. I liked the parody that you used here. Nice!
xo
Paul
……I’m not sure……..I think I mixed my metaphors a time or two…….so it could be Sleeping Beauty, or Rapunzel, or Cinderella………. Thank you, my dear Paul. ~ Much love, Bobbie
Oh, reading through the lines made me recall the fairy tales of my childhood! Lovely piece, Bobbie!
Mine too, Dee. Every now and then, I need to stop taking myself so seriously! LOL! Thank you, Dee. Love, Bobbie
