I have not breath
to give you –
no tears beyond these few
I have no words
to will you understood
of ways I was
when none would know
to see in you
my morning –
rolled against the sunlight
of my dew
without the say
to know you now
or where tomorrow
glistens –
her skirts of almost life
above the rain
of beauty
I am nothing more
than ashes blown to autumn –
a song no longer sung
forgotten tune
of melodies
you gave to me –
when thought no one
would notice –
when wandered back
my wilderness to know
chance the morn
to find me here –
and you my one for keeping
photographs
remembered as
we were
still the light
of dawning blessed
sighs of everafter –
when called by name
each star along my brow
fill this page
with lonely lines –
write again tomorrow
tell me
when again –
and I shall wait
…
“of beauty I am nothing more
than ashes blown to autumn –
a song no longer sung
forgotten tune”
I find nothing farther from the truth than these lines. The beauty I find goes far beyond what the norm defines as beauty. It’s not what you are, Bobbie…, but who you are, and the parts of you that you share with everyone who reads what you write.
I know, I’m rambling…
….always ~xo~

If you ramble, it is with kindness and I am humbled by your perceptions. Thank you, dearest Paul. ~ Love, Bobbie
& at the very ends beginnings start…
Peace & Light to your heart
Indeed, dear Mira. One of my favorite quotes goes something like this ~ There will come a time when you believe everything is ended; that will be the beginning.
Thank you, my dear friend. ~ My love to you always, Bobbie
Such a beautiful, wonderful poem and the last lines really completes it well! Thanks for sharing this gem!
