thought I knew
of distance ~
thought I knew of destinies
words I might not
ever hear were tangled
in the trees
forgotten
what I meant to say
remembered where we were
when for a time
forever left a stain
upon my heart
thought I was
as none could be ~
grace much more than this
whenever touch
my own was come ~
was proof of more
than bliss
of lifetimes passed
as whispers
of the future to unfold
was meant for love ~
and came to be
the only thing I know
of hurricanes
and dragonflies
into a northern flame
thought I heard you coming back
thought you spoke
my name
…
You Poetry and thoughts are always wonderful 🙂
